Food, food, food – breakfast! | Libster

Hello and welcome back to my blog!
This blog is about food (hence the title). I know that having braces can be quite a commitment and that the variety of food you are able to eat is limited so I am going to give you some ideas and tips on what you can eat.
Ok first of all, breakfast. Personally, breakfast is my favourite meal of the day, I never have the exact same breakfast everyday – weekdays I try and be healthy and on the weekends I like to have a treat. I really enjoy smoothies and they are so simple; just whack everything into a blender and you’re done! Here are a couple of my favourites:
Banana Smoothie:

You will need:
• A blender
• 1 banana
• 1 ½ tbsp. of honey
• 250 ml of milk ( this isn’t exact,
you can adjust this) or/and natural yoghurt.
• A few ice cubes

Berry Blitz Smoothie:

You will need:
• A handful of berries of your choice
(I use strawberries and raspberries)
• 250 ml of milk (again, this isn’t
Exact) or natural yoghurt.
• A few ice cubes

Of course there are other things like porridge and Weetabix which is so boring I know but they don’t have to be. You can add whatever you like to them, try different things each morning and see which one you prefer. Don’t have too much sugar though and keep to one smoothie a day – too many will damage your teeth.
These a couple of my favourites but try your own!
Bye,
Libster
